October Committee Minutes

Meeting Schedule

Committee meetings will be held every two months, with additional meetings as needed for urgent matters.

Team Updates

New U9 team Update: 11 players registered.
Will join Blackwater & Dengie league at a later date.
Welcome New managers: Richard Jones and Nick Parish.

Half Term Fixtures

There are currently no scheduled fixtures for U8, U9, and U10 teams, as the league updates divisions.

Duke Of Edinburgh Support

Marina will develop an induction pack. The committee is supportive of the volunteer's involvement.

Winter Training

Indoor and Outdoor Options: U8 Madrids will continue training in the hall, while other teams prefer outdoor sessions with floodlights. Teams will have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces as needed.

Winter Training

Scheduling: Training times will be coordinated to prevent overlaps with other teams and to optimize use of space and lighting.

Manager Training

A demo on using Full-Time and reporting results was postponed as new managers were absent. Graham will prepare a presentation to share with all managers, with ongoing support for those who need it.

Butlins Tour

Marina will create a dedicated WhatsApp group for organizing and communicating about the Butlins trip.

Volunteer Referee Program

Bailey, our volunteer referee, will begin officiating U8 matches, with plans to progress to older age groups.
The club will support Bailey's development, including the necessary referee course.

September Committee Minutes

Funday Success

  • Great turnout & positive feedback from all theteams, vendors, and visitors.

  • Profit of £700+ raised for the club.

  • Thankyou to everyone for your help in making the day such a success.

Referee Support

  • We are helping local children start their refereeing journey, with two young referees joining us for U11/U12 games.

  • The club is supporting their development to build a future pool of referees.

Team News

  • Our new U9’s team has begun training.

  • Saturday sessions for 4-6 year olds start in Spring.

  • The Ladies team will soon be affiliated, opening up funding opportunities.

Welfare

  • We are reviewing our refund policy for next season.

  • The club continues to uphold high standards of conduct on and off the field.

Winter Training

  • Floodlights expected by the end of September.

  • Winter training plans are in development, including possible use of indoor spaces.

Upcoming Events

  • Golf Day coming soon.

  • Club Quiz Night planned for January/February 2025.
